Headwaters School, a Pre-K through grade 12 independent day school serving over 500 students across its three campuses in Austin, TX, is seeking a Full Time Maintenance and Transportation Team Member. Regular hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. Occasional weeknight and weekend hours throughout the year to support campus special events. This position starts Spring 2026.

 

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The Maintenance and Transportation Team Member performs general maintenance and repairs on our campuses to ensure that all students, staff, and the community are provided a safe, attractive, clean and healthy environment for learning and work. This position includes driving the school bus and passenger vans to transport students and staff between campuses, to special events and scheduled field trips. Must maintain a good driving record. CDL license training supported. This position reports directly to the Campus Coordinator.

 

Starting rate: $25.00 per hour
